FAQs
If you have a more specific question you need an answer to, please get in touch with us.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
No, we do not require a doctor's referral in order to see you.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please note that Rodger Duckworth Physiotherapy Practice has a minimum 24 hour cancellation policy.
Failure to give 24 hours notice to cancel, change or not attend an appointment will result in a charge being made.
Where possible 48+ hours notice is desirable so that unwanted appointments are not occupied and may be valued by another patient if there is adequate notice.
As a service to patients we can invoice insurance company directly, but any shortfalls are the responsibility of the PATIENT. Unfortunately, all account deficits are caused when policy limits or excesses are not fully understood or adhered too. Please be aware that the PATIENT is ultimately responsible for ALL costs incurred, including any debt collection costs.
How do I book in?
Simply give us a call on 0118 978 6149, email us on reception@rdphysio.com or get in touch via our contact us form on the website.
Do you accept health insurance?
We do accept health insurance, however policies apply and this is at our discretion - please enquire so that we can discuss your options.
Do you accept NHS patients?
We do not accept NHS patients.
How many treatments will I be needing?
There is no pre-determined number of treatments for a specific condition.
However, following your initial assessment, your physiotherapist will discuss and agree on a treatment plan with you.
This should include advice regarding the approximate number of treatments you may require.
Should I bring my X-rays?
Yes – if you have X-rays or any other relevant medical information please bring them along as this may aid assessment although they are not essential.
