RunWise

Run, Run, Run!

When we run we feel free, energised and good about ourselves. Some of us want to run every day many of us much less often. We all run differently, our bodies automatically find a way of doing so.

For some, running is easier than it is for others but whenever and however we run, running brings benefits that are of value to our physical health and mental wellbeing.

It can help to improve:

- Physical and mental health

- Mood/confidence/self-esteem

- Knee health

- Sleep

- Cardiovascular health

- Age related cognitive decline

- Stress

- Calorie burning

Run Wise & Realise Your Potential

Run Wise has been developed by Salil Das, one of our senior physiotherapists at the Rodger Duckworth Physiotherapy Practice to get you running the way you’ve always wanted to.

By combining our physiotherapy expertise and our vast experience of assessing and treating injuries we have helped many runners get back to full fitness and resume whatever level of running they enjoy.

Run Wise is a platform designed to help any runner, new or experienced, achieve their optimum potential.

Whether your goal is simply to be able to begin gentle jogging, start a ‘couch to 5k’ programme or to run marathons and beyond, then our Run Wise service can help.

A key theme that underpins Run Wise is to help educate runners on how to avoid injury, how to treat injury and most importantly understand the potential causes of existing or recurring injuries.

Run Wise can influence and compliment your existing running programme or training plan that you follow.

We are able to discuss your programme with you or liaise with personal trainers and club coaches to help ensure your personal goals are achieved.

For those who have never run for fun or fitness before, Run Wise provides an excellent platform to safely and confidently embark on your running journey.
