Rodger Duckworth - Physio in Wokingham
Rodger Duckworth BSc(Physio)MCSP MAACP
Rodger graduated in 1993 and then went on to obtain postgraduate qualifications in manual and manipulative therapy in Sheffield. He started practising privately in 1995 then set up the Practice at its current site on Rectory Road in 1996 which has grown to become one of the most reputable practices in the area.
Clinical Specialisms:
Rodger’s main interest and expertise is in the treatment of spinal problems – particularly back pain, neck pain and referred pain in the arm. He has undertaken study into anterior knee pain and has therefore developed his reputation in the area as a specialist in complex knee problems – especially with a biomechanical basis. Rodger is also a registered acupuncturist.
 
 
Jane Mellor - Physio in Wokingham
Jane Mellor Grad Dip Phys MCSP
Jane qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1986 from the Leeds School of Physiotherapy and specialises in Neurological and Community physiotherapy. She is a qualified Bobath Physiotherapist. She recently has been working for the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Bracknell until joining the Practice in 2006 as our Neurological Specialist. Jane mainly works in the community helping people in the comfort of their own home but is willing to see patients in the clinic.

Sedisha Brink - Physio in Wokingham
Sedisha Brink BSc(Hons) MCSP Dip Ortho Med
Currently on Maternity leave
Sedisha graduated in 2002, at the University of Durban- Westville, South Africa. She has been in private practice since 2004 and has both hospital and private practice experience. She moved to England in 2005. Since then, Sedisha completed a postgraduate diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine in London.
Clinical Specialisms:
She has a special interest in shoulders, cervical spine and upper limb surgical cases. She has extensive experience in rehabilitation following hip/knee/shoulder/elbow joint replacements, Birmingham Hip resurfacing and ACL reconstruction.
 
Perry Cayley - Physio in Wokingham
Perry Cayley BSc(Hons), MCSP
Perry graduated from the University of West of England, Bristol in 2005. He worked in the NHS for 4 years before moving to New Zealand to work in a private clinic in 2009. Perry has also worked with Reading FC academy and the 82 football academy in New Zealand.
Clinical Specialisms:
Perry has an interest in sports injuries and uses a variety of techniques from soft tissue techniques to mobilisation and manipulative techniques using a biomechanical model for full rehabilitation. 
 
Helen Battersby - Physio in Wokingham
Helen Battersby BSc(Hons) MCSP
Helen graduated from Coventry University with a first class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy and she worked in the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading in a variety of physiotherapy disciplines for over 2 years. She then decided to persue her interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and moved into private practice.
Clinical Specialisms:
Helen has worked with many local consultants in rehabilitating patients following surgery. She has a hands-on approach, and uses a variety of techniques including mobilisations, soft tissue therapy and manipulations. 
 
 
Steven Ott - Physio in Wokingham
Steven Ott BSc(Hons) MCSP
Steve graduated from Southampton University in 2008. He worked in the NHS at Andover and Basingstoke hospitals before moving into private practice late 2009. Steve has worked closely with a variety of Orthopaedic Consultants as well as working within sport. Steve is also a fully qualified personal trainer and holds a degree in Sports Science.
Clinical Specialisms:
Steve has a special interest in the treatment of back and neck pain with extensive background in core stability training. He utilises a combination of hands on treatment, exercise therapy, mobilisations and manipulations in his treaments.  
 









 

Jennie Cottrell - Physio in Wokingham
Jennie Cottrell MSCi MCSP
Jennie completed a masters in physiotherapy from King's College London in 2002. After 3 years in the NHS she moved into private practice at the Barclays Headquarters in Canary Wharf. She has also managed the physiotheray team at Wescombe Park Rugby Club, a National 2 side for 3 years.
Clinical Specialisms:
Jennie has a keen interst in sports injuries using a variety of manual techniques including acupuncture. she also has considerable experience in postural and ergonomic injuries from working in the corporate environment.










 


Celia Gillbe BSc(Hons), MCSP
Celia studied at Oxford Brookes University and afterwards remained in Oxford to work at the John Radcliffe Hospital. After two years in the NHS Celia moved into the private sector, working for Nuffiled Health where she developed her musculskeletal skills, particulary in post-operative physiotherapy.        
Clinical Specialisms:
Celia has qualifications in acupuncture, pilates, sports massage and manipulations. Celia has a keen interest in sports medicine and has worked with elite athletes in rugby, rowing and cycling.
